Intensives with Manouso


New Timings

Classes begin at 8:00 am and end no later than 1:15 pm.  There will be one day that is shorter.  The last day will finish by 10:30 am.


Level and Prerequisites

Intermediate and Advanced Iyengar yoga students only.  No beginners, please.  All students must have ONE YEAR of continuous experience with a certified Iyengar yoga Instructor

March 1-7, 2019 Week-long Intensive
$625 if deposit or full payment RECEIVED BY February 1st, $750 thereafter.

July 1-7, 2019 -Week-long Intensive
$625 if deposit or full payment RECEIVED BY June 1st, $750 thereafter.

October 1-7, 2019 -Week-long Intensive
$625 if deposit or full payment RECEIVED BY September 1st,$750 thereafter.

Registration and Payment

To register,  you must mail a check made out to "The Abode of Iyengar Yoga" to 765 Monterey Blvd., San Francisco, CA 94127 and provide the following:

  1. Your name

  2. your email address for confirmation

  3. the name of your certified yoga teacher

  4. how long you have been studying Iyengar yoga

  5. The intensive for which you are registering

The Abode DOES NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS OR ACCEPT RESERVATIONS VIA PHONE, EMAIL, OR THE WEBSITE.  Fees are for classes only, they do not include airfare and lodging.


Lodging Information

The Abode is NOT able to assist students in finding accommodationThere are no hotels near the Abode.  Hotels near public transportation, such as those in downtown San Francisco, will enable you to get to the Abode without a car.  There is also Airbnb with more affordable housing which normally includes a kitchen.  You can get around the city quite easily with Uber, Lyft and public transportation.  Some students in the passed have reported that they stayed at the Ocean Park Motel on 46th Avenue, which is on the 23 MUNI bus line.  Others have found accommodation in the Haight/Ashbury district, which is on the 43 MUNI bus line.  if you choose to stay in a hotel near the San Francisco Airport, there is no public transportation and you will have to rent a car or use Uber/Lyft.
